ECI provides all aspects of LEED® consulting services to assist its clients in the USGBC Certification process for their projects. Our in-house staff includes architects, engineers, scientists and LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED® APs), all of whom have the education, experience, knowledge and skills of green building practices and principles process.
ECI can assist with the following:
LEED Needs Assessment: Once LEED is recommended as a facet of development, ECI works on meeting the client’s objectives and needs, and meeting the necessary credit requirements and LEED certification level.
Design Assessment: Once the level of LEED Certification has been determined, it is ECI’s responsibility to create alternatives and solutions for the green building design, to ensure that the client’s objectives are met as to certification and LEED compliance.
Construction Phase: ECI’s professional staff provide LEED consulting services during the construction phase. These services include; implementation of the waste management plan and indoor air quality management plan, documentation of material credits, performance of site visits, general oversight activities, attendance of related construction meetings.
Application Submittal: ECI takes on the responsibility of gathering all the necessary application materials for LEED certification and submittal. ECI also becomes the primary contact between the USGBC and its clients to respond to any technical matters and providing for proper follow-up to the application.
